| Starting at 8.30pm and 
playing to a room packed to the rafters, The Breeders played a 40-minute set to 
a , opening up for a number of local Los Angeles area groups.
 
 The show was broadcast over the Internet on www.liveclubs.net, 
                          and Crud believe you can stiill catch a glimpse of the 
                          broadcast if you click on the url. The gig also heralded 
                          the first public appearance of the new line up - Kim 
                          Deal on vocals & guitar, Kelley Deal on guitar and vocals, 
                          Jose Medeles on drums, Mando Lopez on bass and Richard 
                          Presley on guitar.
 
 Lopez and Presley are known to have been in 
the punk group Fear.
 
 11 songs in all were approached by the band including 
'Flipside', 'Cannonball' , the 1992 single 'Safari', 'Tipp City' and 'Mom's Drunk' 
byThe Amps. The Breeders also played new songs' 'Too Alive' and the kellet deal 
song 'Fire in the Maid'

 With a new move to Los Angeles for the sisters, Kim 
also hinted at possible new studio plans circa early 2001. Steve Albini is rumoured
