'Banana Ripple' will be released on 30th May (in the UK) as the first single from Junior Boys’ upcoming new album, 'It’s All True' (June 20th).
The epic 9-minute album closer will be available on 12” and digital download. The release will also feature a remix from The Field.
'It’s All True' is said to have to have begun its life in Shanghai, where Jeremy Greenspan made an extended visit to write and begin recording. On one of the album tracks - Itchy Fingers - local musicians can be heard on the song’s exotic middle-eight.
With the greater part of the album written and mapped out, Greenspan returned to his native Hamilton, Ontario where he was joined by Matthew Didemus in the band’s recently constructed studio.
