There was a time when melancholy hirsute types were mocked for their underprivileged personal hygiene and their statutory talent in being able to name all hundred and five line-up changes to the progressive rock band, Yes. But all that changed with the arrival of Fleet Foxes and their 2008 self-titled debut.
Suddenly the Magic Numbers were not the only fringe hippies with a tasty tune in town.
On 2nd May 2011 Fleet Foxes will release second album ‘Helplessness Blues’on Bella Union records (Sub Pop in the US).
